Default Drive Belt Noise

I have a 2002 w/ 27000, I just had it in for service and now I'm noticing a slight squeel coming from the drive belt. Visual inspection of the belt shows no signs of wear or damage, it looks practically new. Has anyone had to replace their drive belt or had issues? Only thing I can think of is maybe it stretched, maintenance schedule says to check the belt at 75000 miles, so it seems a bit premature.
Hoping for some insight before I go back to the dealer.
Thanks for any help / advice that anyone may have.

I just took my 2002 in for a routine service (at about 16,000 miles). I mentioned at check-in that I had fan belt noise at idle.

The dealer replaced the fan belt under warranty.

I think this is pretty unusual. My previous Lexus (SC400) never had any fan belt noise for 10 years, and the engines are pretty much the same.

I've just noticed this on mine too at 21k miles. It's noisy at idle. Will have it replaced like tfischer on my next service...

I just noticed a squeak in my 2002 (28k since 11/23/01) this weekend. To me, it doesn't sound like a belt as much as a pulley going bad -- right around the alternator. Hopefully it's just the belt, even though it'll be under warranty.

Last time I had a squeak, it was with my SC400 in the service bay when they returned it to me. I asked about it, and they just sprayed the belt - but it went away, so I guess that's OK. But I'm due for service -- I'll let you know what they say. Still gotta get those decklid lifters replaced!

Similar noise on my 2003 at 11,400 miles. Dealer replaced tensioner and belt. Quick and easy.

I took my 2002 in recently and mine was replaced too. Seems like there is a problem with the 2002 belts as I never noticed any noise but they replaced it because they said it was noisy.
