Question on color
Hi all-got a question on colors for the SC430. A friend of mine wants to paint his Nissan 300ZX a color he says he's seen on the S430 that is a real dark purple color. Is that the black onyx or what? Thanks...

He is correct.
Black onyx is what we used to call black.
Twilight Amethyst Pearl is what we used to call purple.
Knowing the name is not going to help much. He should get a sample of the color he wants, either at a paint store (they have lots of colors with even better names than Twilight Amethyst Pearl) or get an SC brochure at a Lexus dealer, and then take that sample to whoever is going to paint the car for him.
If he just says "Paint it purple" he could get an unpleasant surprise.
