New Dunlop R/Fs??
The new BMW 530i apparently comes equipped with Dunlop run-flats, SP Sport 01 DSST, 245/40WR-18 (Car & Driver, Jan '04). With BMWs so well targeted in the aftermarket, maybe we'll finally see some new R/F alternatives.
New ones (mine does) also come with dunlop RFs, but SP5000s instead (I wonder if they're basically the same). By the way, 'DSST' means: Dunlop Self-Support Technology. Amazing the kind of crap manufacturers come up with, huh?
So far so good, but tread depth on my tires look lilke if they already had 20K miles; I can touch the treadwear indicators with my fingers. They have a very shallow tread depth for an all-season tire. We'll see how long they last (just 600 miles so far).
Hope everybody had a great weekend.
