Default Outside Car Cover

I will be picking up a SC430 soon that will need to be parked outside year round. It will be housed in VA so winters are not too harsh but summers can get extremely hot. Any recommendations for a fitted cover built to withstand the elements? Thanks

I have found that covercraft products are really good. I have 5 of the their sun screens. My son who lives in Richmond just bought one their car covers for his girlfriends Mustang

I have no specific recommendations as far as manufacturers, but suggest you invest in one that helps keep the clear coat from being damaged. Even the more expensive covers will eventually cause minor scratching and rubbing as things like dust get trapped under the cover when it is being placed on or removed from the car. Depending on where you are in VA, wind could be a factor like in the SE or along the coasts when hurricanes or nor-easters roll in.

Thanks,

I have googled and found two (covercraft.com and carcovers.com) who appear to have good products.

for va weather i would suggest the covercraft weathershield hp since it handles intense sun really well without trapping heat i had a similar situation with my bristol 405 trying to shield your bristol 405 from sun and rain and you definitely want something custom fit so it doesnt flap around in the wind

I feel ya guys, but its hard to justify a $500 car cover. I got this one from Amazon (
Amazon Amazon
) and it seems to do the job in my area. The only issue i have is sometimes i forget to strap the ties under the car and you will get some leaves stuck in there, but nothing a blower cant fix.
