So I've been cleaning my cars with rags and old towels and waxing with an old probably Walmart random orbit buffer for years and getting an "ok" at best, job done. So I've been doing some research, watching TONS of videos and decided to step out a little and get some good equipment and supplies to clean things up. I'm tired of the "permanent" water spots and stuff on my cars so I decided to do something about it! I will probably start on my truck for practice and then go for the SC. I really wanted a cordless buffer but then you about double the price!
I have been using Griots products for 3 years after trying many others. Have their 6 & 3” buffers. Their large two layer towel is awesome, I can dry my 1T dually with it alone! Their Speedshine works really well and fast, key is a high quality microfiber cloth with any product. Haven’t found a towel/rag I like better.
When I traded in an 07 Chev deisel 2 years ago the sales manager was floored at the paint condition considering it had 270k on it, he called the detailed over and asked him why their cars didn’t look that good. It had a 4 month old ceramic wax on it and had sat outside all winter. They both now use Griots on their personal vehicles!
