Challenging question.
Does anybody know what the SC production has been since it came out as an '02?
Not challenging enough? How about the break-down by color? And forecasted production numbers for '04?
I remember asking the same thing about my corvette, and a crazy guy had those numbers since the car came out in '53, right down to ALL possible interior/exterior color combinations, options (a ton on the vette), etc. If you wanted to know how many cars were made EXACTLY like yours, you could find out easily. Fortunately, the SC only comes in ONE configuration, and only 2 options (3 in '03, but back to 2 in '04); much easier job guys. By the way, there were around 34,000 vettes made in '03; I bet the SC has much lower numbers, but there're a ton for sale on Ebay.
Later guys.

Thanks Mike. I thought the figure was higher than 10 grand a year.
That's probably the lowest volume car in the entire Lexus line, correct? I wonder how many of the other V8 models are produced a year. I remember the GS4 being very low production as well; right around the 6K mark back in '98.
Take care buddy.

That sounds more like it John.
I was wondering if our VINs are cumulative (and started with 00001), because if that's the case, my '04s 49,918 number would mean around 16K a year or so. I initially thought around 6K or so a year, but just the sheer number for sale on Ebay point otherwise. I just can't believe Lexus can sell so many $60K+ cars a year, especially with the state of the economy in the last couple of years. I'm impressed.
Good day.
