I believe it's '96-00 you want for the auto-dimming mirrors, not just '97+.

057 is what, for people without a color chart in front of them?

057 is golden pearl white,96-00 is what I'm looking for

I've got a white one, but I guess I haven't looked at the color charts recently enough to remember that there's more than just Diamond White Pearl in the whites.

It takes a bit of work, but yeah, you can separate the glass/motor/mount out of the housing.
