JDM Soarer spec R154 transmission
Selling my JDM spec R154
The JDM parts used to convert the R154 to SC300 use are new still in the box
The trans is the R154 from a MK3,
But all shifting parts are JDM (New still in toyota packaging) it's all the parts from the thread that converts USDM MK3 R154 to JDM Soarer R154
(These parts have been discontinued and are super rare)
Bellhousing and flywheel are 1JZ (used)
Swan neck sifter
also Trans itself has been rebuilt with 0 miles! (trans and rebuild cost $800)
come with 6 quarts Royal Purple Max Gear Synthetic Gear Oil 75W90 ($25 a quart, $150 total)
Still needs the front 1/2 shaft from a MK3 to mate to the rear 1/2 shaft of the sc300, and the MK3 clutch master/slave cylinder
$1750
I'm in Brooklyn, NY
local pickup proffered,
unless you have it picked up by a freight company

Here's some
the trans itself is in storage, will get pic later this week
btw: I prefer pickup cause the sear bulk and weight make this a pain to ship
the extended Soarer shifter housing and slide piece are brand new from toyota of japan (discontinued part)
the shifter is used (I'm told this is the swann neck one, you may not need it, but I picked it up just in case)

re mistake
hey I mean no harm but thats not a shifter extension its the stock mk3 shift linkage and shifter housing. If you goto driftmotion there is a support bracket and the shift extention housing looks completly different. sorry i just was kind of giving you a heads up....

the shifter extension looks right to me. drift motion does not carry this item they only carry one that take your core and modify ( pretty much trying to copy this item) and i believe they also carry replacement parts for a soarer r154 with the straight shifter style which this is not
as stated above this is a mk3 r154 with parts to make it work with an SC

this piece is the original JDM soarer one that IS NO LONGER MADE
please see this thread
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/4637416-post1.html
it details how to create a soarer spec JDM R154 using the US MK3 core using FACTORY Toyota parts, no cutting/welding
BTW: I have talk to more then one reputable transmission building in the past about doing a cut and weld, and they both told me that if the dimensions are NOT exact the sifter/gear will not be 100% engaged and cause problems down the line......
