By the pictures it looks like the material you're air chiseling is like the washers up front with the LCAs (Rubber, but metal inside).
I'll have to have the shop do this, as I have no where to burn the center shell out without having everyone in the world try to fine me at my condo. I do have some extra LCA/UCA inner shells if those might fit?

Curious about the results. I'm planning on replacing all the bushings on my car with stiffer ones, but have never heard of these diff bushings..
Two questions;
1) what exactly is this 'wheel hop'? My car definately feels sluggish when launching, but I'm not so sure I'd describe is as a 'wheel hop' sensation..
2) will it fit on a '99 SC4?

These bushings are made by me and sold through Aliga as he is an approved CL vendor.
The reason I made these is because the stock bushings are far far too soft which any time you launch the car or get any wheel spin under partial traction conditions the soft stock rubber bushings load and the unload rapidly causing wheel hop which these cars are kind of known for this so the only solution up until I made these were solid aluminum ones which transfer loads of vibration to the chassis and are not good for a car that is daily driven or a street car.
I would say these are 75% more stiff than the stockers and transfer little if any increased vibrations to the chassis.
Also I daily drive my car (97 sc400) with these and it really makes a big difference in how the car performs as the mushy rubber bushings rob hp and tq so these will transfer power to the pavement much more efficiently thus giving the feeling of more hp.
These will fit any year sc300 or 400 along with supra n/a and tt as well as gs300 and 400.
These have been used in 1000+ whp 9 second supra and various 500+ whp scx00's before they were even relased for sale.
I hope that clears up your questions.
