I need to get a new ECU, mine's starting to go out I think.

I need it for a 95 SC300. I have the heated mirrors, power lock/window, power seat(s), etc (I don't know if it matters, seems to be separate from main issue).

Sorry, I forgot to mention I have an automatic. I don't think other years will work with the 95 will they?

 

As long as both are OBD1 and have the same tranny they will interchange.

What makes you say yours is going out?

 

I'm having random "bumps" at idle, the entire ignition is brand new.

I couldn't communicate with the ECU with a Lexus scanner, Snap On, Mac Tools, etc.

BOTH door locks don't work, per the FSM, that's usually a bad ECU as the last diagnostic procedure.

It's really just to try it out, I think it will make a difference.

The pin out is the exact same on all ODB1 cars? What about Solar Sensor, wireless,etc - I know they have their own control units but will it all line up in the main ECU?
