F.S. R154 and components
Hi guys,
I know the guys at the local parts yard pretty well, and they ran across this and called me asap. It's an R154 out of an MKIII that a gentleman was going to use for his MKIV. The year is unkown, mileage unkown, but....judging by the pics, it hasn't seen much and it feels absolutely awesome for a 18 year old trans. It hits every gear solid and neutral feels tight. The best part about it is, the only thing missing is the driver side inspection plate cover (I needed that one
). Comes with all of this:
Trans w/ good bellhousing
shifter and extension housing (seal on housing is in good condtion w/ all bolts) all four bolts are that hold shifter in are there also and all holes are good.
Reverse sensor
Speed sensor
Rear speed sensor
mount (still solid, no cracks)
cross member
clutch fork
hook for clutch fork
rear seal is still good
I even have the the housing for the slave cylinder, you can purchase a rebuild kit from your local O'reillys or Auto Zone for cheap. The stock line is even installed on the slave cylinder.
Basically, trying to find this trans in this good of condition with everything I am selling with it, is tough to say the least.None of this, "well it doesnt go into 1st," or " it's missing the speedo and trans mount", its all there, except for the inspection plate as mentioned. If I didn't need the money for other things I would set this aside in my garage and keep it as a backup, it feels that good.
Everything I have here I am selling for $450 shipped. No low ***** please. This is a good trans with all working components, good seals, and all sensors. If noone wants a good complete trans, it will sit in my garage for a perfectly working backup. The pictures speak for themselves:

*EDIT* I would also like to mention that I am willing to trade for a number of itmes.
A GOOD set of TT wheels and tires
A full set of GOOD coilovers w/springs, mounts, etc.
Or a complete set of LS4 brakes, rotors, calipers, etc.

I would if I knew the exact mileage and history of it. But the shifting is smooth and tight, with almost 0 play in nuetral. so I think the price is fair. Did you get everything figured out on your swap?
