Default WTB: Downpipe compatible with 1jz

I need a down pipe to finish my swap.

Anything you know is compatible with a 1jzgte in an SC.

ASAP

I asked the same thing a while back, and I do have a local shop that can custom make it 3" straight through to the cat for a mere $1100. So I'm seeking alternatives. Contacted another shop and getting some details on the down pipe and could let you know if you are still interested.

Someone posted on my thread about getting a 1JZ flange and weld it to a supra DP. Sounded vague to me so I didn't pursue after that one.

I'm looking for a 3" for the stock twin turbos in case you are wondering.

I guess if you could even just get me the specifications I could talk to some fabricators out here.

Has anyone had a DP fabricated that has some specs? Price?

If I can't buy one I will look into fabrication but any more info to go on would be sweet.

No image for the product. Far as I now know, the stock twin turbo need the y-pipe section (turbo elbow) to the turbos first, then the down pipe section to the catalytic converter.

found this on Ebay: downpipe linky

shows what I'm talking about. Found another website selling something similar but welded all together as a combo set. Now I'm not sure which one to get. That Ebay one actually looks quite good, despite my lack of confidence on Ebay goods...

Does anyone have any info on this DP? My mechanic said he thought it would work too, but I would like something a bit more solid to go on.

Can anyone verify if that would work on this application?

I just sent the seller an inquiry to see what he knows about its compatibility. I'll update when he responds.

i'm sure it'll work the only thing you "might" have a fitment issue with is the last part of the dp might not bolt up to your stock piping, if that's the case just get a muffler shop to do that one section shouldn't be much

im the one that posted about the supra dp, it works its simple buy the 1j flange try manic tech racing and a 2jzgte dp next go to any muffler shop and tell them to fit it. thats what i did with mine there is nothing risky or fishy its exhaust work all they will need to do is a couple cuts and extensions and thats it. you guys are over doing this. mine is off the car right now Ill get you a pic in a min.

Here's the response I got from the ebay seller optionautoimports on item # 230255372208 when I asked about compatibility with the SC.

"Dear customer,
As far as I know the y-pipe will fit no problem but the downpipe need to modify a little bit since the chassis is different.
Thanks"

Between that and shonuff53 (thanks for taking the time to post a pic) I'm thinking the only route is modification with either stock or aftermarket, I was just hoping someone knew of a aftermarket DP that worked out.
