I've had these on the car for a while, removed them and went back to amber. As you can see, they've fallen apart on me, lenses popped off and lost one of the little domes inside. Also, the plug part of the lens has been warped/mangled from who knows what...

You can probably reglue the lenses back on and leave the dome out and be good as new from the "outside." You can also paint the housing black and reseal if you like that dark look.
