you would be better off with finding a V160 6-speed out of a supra turbo and forking over the $2000-3000.

the r154's from the mk3 sup can be used if you modify the shifter (and i think something else... not too sure what that something else is)

will still hold up way better than the w58 and cost wayyyy cheaper than the v160

You will still need a 1JZ bellhousing (200+), and the modified shifter mech. Have to relocate it 4" aft, tail shaft mods IIRC.

if you use the r154 out of the supra, you will need the tail shaft from the soarer. if you can find the tail shaft, you can find the tranny. once again, good luck.
