I did some reasearch on this alarm and it doesn't have a feature I wanted. So I'll relinquish my dibs, damn. back to the drawing board for me

Good luck with the sale though

exactly
since the aftermarket head unit is amplified, you cant send that signal to the stock amplifier and get it reamplified.
what this thing does is it converts to low voltage. there is also controls in the unit to increase or decrease the voltage sent. ofcourse, the higher you turn the *****, the higher the sound, but the more distorted it gets.
the plug provided allows you to hook up the aftermarket head univer without cutting the stock wiring.
paypal is elhalis@sbcglobal.net. let me know

Wait, so does that conversion piece for the HU get rid of that crazy whining feedback noise? I had to cut up my wiring and have been living with this crazy feedback "whining" noise for the last 2 years almost. If this conversion piece makes it so it is like the stock lexus system including the woofer, then i got second dibs for sure!

EDIT: let me know if the other guy doesn't buy it from you. Thanks!

no one else had dibs on it. the other guy backed up
yes, you can definatley use your stock subs. it still allows you to use your stock amp.
here is why
the stock lexus radio gives out a low voltage, unamplified signal to the amp. the amp powers up that signal for the speakers
when u use an after market radio, almost all of the them have a built in amp. so sending that amplified signal from an aftermarket radio to the stock amp creates a lot of distortion
what this unit does is that it takes that signal from the aftermarket radio, and powers it down. you can control how much power you want to go to the amp. the converter has 4 channels, and each channel has a ****. when u turn it up, it will be louder, but not as clear and more distortion. when u have it down, its very clear but not as loud.

let me know

So basically with this module, with the power controller turned down, the volume of the radio would be like the stock volume? With the power turned up, you will get that whining noise?
