Default does my baby have the most miles?? (sc 430)

I suppose my infatuation began when I was kid and my dad drove a 92 green and silver SC400. He was the "cool" dad. But it truly started, when I was a teenager, I went to an electronics show in Vegas with my dad when I was a senior in highschool at the end of 2000, and saw the new and ready to come out SC 430, oh baby did I fall in love. Who would have thought, a bit over a year later, I would find myself in a position to make it my "goal". I then spent my days dreaming, fantasizing, and stalking every SC I saw drive by for about 2 years after making it my goal in 2002. Well, I achieved that goal in 2004, 21 years old, I drove to Chicago from California, dropped off my old Mustang, and picked up my new best friend, a Black on Black 02 SC430 with 20,001 miles on it. WOW, I still remember that day, how pumped I was.

Well, now that I've had her for over 6 years, I can tell you she is more than my car and mode of transportation. My SC is literally my best friend. My business partner. My office. My gf. My home (almost actually), My comfort. My alone time. My love shack My trophy and proof to myself I can do anything I set my mind to. My SC has taken care of me, and helped me out in so many ways it almost weird to say a car is that "important" to me. But the dog gone reality is that this car has had my back since the day I bought it. Even when I didn't treat her well, and change her fluids and keep up on her like a good man should. She always shows me love no matter what.

I spent a lot of time in my car. I literally spent over a full year out of the last six years sitting in that driver's seat. I took it from 20k miles to currently 288,000. I always wondered, is there anyone out there who has more miles on a SC430 than I have?

Great story. I can only imagine the fun you have had at a younger age with this car. I guess I better take my 02 out more often and feel the love. I hardly drive it because of two other vehicles in the garage. Although, it is my favorite. Like an earlier post from VTiiBob, I would like to know what maintenance issues have come up for you.

How about posting any major mechanical jobs along with your mileage?

And, although I really didn't want this image in my head, he did say his car was his "gf", not mentioning "anyone" else, and, he spent a lot "alone time" in his car.

that there is funny I don't care who you are!!! Side note: VVTiBob thanks for all your knowledge you share on the forums. I really appreciate all the expert advise I've gleaned off the forum from you and the others since I've only been a Lexus owner since Aug, 2010.
