Default New Foose Wheels for the wife's '02

Here's some pics of the new Foose Nitrous Wheels on my wife's '02 SC. We had nothing but problems with the OEM wheels leaking around the rim/tire seals. Ended up having to put air in them two-three times a week. Problem solved with the new 20's. 20 x 8.5 on the front, 20 x 10 on the back. Nitto 555 tires all they way around. Ride is outstanding. Wife asked if it was OK if she talked nice to her car after riding on them! What an improvement over stock OEM wheels with Pirelli PZero Nero's.

I also added the Orange Electronics TPMS. This unit is on sale at US Auto Parts for $120. A steal. The pressure setpoints are adjustable. You get an audible warning as well as a readout of actual pressure and temps. Plugs into the accessory outlet in the lower center console box. Drilled a small hole to get the cable through and some velcro to attach to the side of the center console.

Will be adding some new Brembo rotors, new pads and cleaning up and painting the calipers etc. next.

I have to agree unfortunately. I think they belong on a muscle car. But, hey if you and your wife like them, then that's all that really matters. We all have different tastes, and I can appreciate yours!

Man, I really hate to burst someones bubble after they've spent hard earned cash. One way you can save these is paint the centers black with chrome lip. The black center will hide the muscle car look of these wheels.
If it were me, I'd take them back immediately and hope they exchange them for something else. Even if they didn't I'd buy something else.
Yes, they look that bad on this car.
Again, sorry.

I agree that they would look great on a Mustang GT or Camaro or maybe even a Vette.

I like anything shiny and 20" though, so I'd take 'em! If you love them and your wife does, who cares, right? Foose are not cheap, though. I hope you both LOVE them, because my buddy bought some Foose for 3x what I paid for my 20" chrome and honestly most people that see both out cars like mine better. Foose makes a lot of great wheels, just curious were you going for that muscle car look?

Smile You & me brother

Ok, I guess I'm in a minority here. They look great! Remind me of my 20's and people who see them in person love them. I also agree they look good on muscle cars, so what does that mean? Good mod -you did the right thing. If you and the spouse like them like we like ours-thats icing on the cake. I know their a lot of people who dont like chrome, but I grew up with chrome as a great upgrade and with a few exceptions I dont like non-chrome. Ya done good-Foose is a great wheel.

The Orange TPMS is a very nice kit which works very well. I have it in one of my cars as well.

Can't speak for others but chrome isn't my problem with the wheels, it's the design. They look like those mustang wheels or old school muscle car wheels...which isn't a good look for this stylish luxury japanese car.

Default It's all good!

No problem here with those that have different tastes! My spouse and I grew up with muscle cars like the GTO, Mustangs and Camaros. My dad, brother and I all built Fords from 289's through big blocks. Yeah my age is showing!

The SC is definitely a luxury GT compared to those cars. That's why I guess we love it so much. I don't have to work on it unless I want to. I always had to work on the muscle cars!

I appreciate all the opinions and the fact we have a place to voice them in this forum.

Merry Christmas to all!

not my taste. but they will look a lot better if you lower it and either get a bbk or new rotors and calipers.

Hate to say this but it's not really my cup of tea also. However, it does have bling and as long as you love it, which is most important.

First glance, they reminded me of Cragar SS's, which were popular wheels way back when on 70's vintage and earlier muscle cars.

Relative to pie plates, I think they look awesome, and the main thing is they look good to you
