Default A few pictures for your viewing pleasure

Hey guys,
Just washed her and went for a drive, I’ve done a few small modifications. First off I’ve ordered red overlays for the rear lights. These are meant to be temporary until I can scrounge together enough change to buy the 06 tails. Next up I debagged the rear, What do you guys/girls think? I personally like the idea of less is more, the cleaner the car the better, so in my opinion the less emblems and badges the smother and seamless the car appears.

Don't waste ur money in the overlays.
Save up and get the 06+ led taillight, you won't regret it.

I know I really want the 06's but the overlays are costing me less than 20 bucks.. But the next thing for sure is the tails... I love those tails this is just a temporary fix

Still, Carson Toyota probably won't sell you the 06 tail for $20 less, right?

You know this SC430 forum needs some new members who can come up really strong.
I hope to see someone who can kick these ballers' (rominl or gsxotic...) a$$ very soon. wahaha...

haha I know I know it might not look the best, but I hate driving a stock looking car, so anything that I can do to set it off and make it look just a little bit different than the rest of the Sc’s around is just that much more satisfying to me

I am really hoping for a good month at work, being in the real estate/ mortgage business one good month means a good amount of moding money

My next mod? I would have to say small things like tint will be done in the next few weeks, then its between the 06' lights and a nice set of staggered/aggressive 20's. If I stumble upon a good deal for wheels then I'll take them, if not I'll be purchasing the tails from my local dealer.

Thats very clean and looks elegant.

So the emblems on the rear is a stick on I assume and we can just take it off and clean up the double sided tape that might still be on the paint right?

I think that is my next poor-mans mod.

yes, all of them are stick on, dental floss is your friend

keep in mind for the lexus emblem in the middle, if you take it off there will be an oval shape there

I'm glad to hear less is more, given the fact i have 34B's.
I just bought a white sc430 too. Where did you find the overlays? Is there a website to order Sc430 items? Your car looks very clean.

haha hey as long as you know how to work it, that’s all that matters

As far as the overlays go, there was not a specific application for our SC's, so I went to Rvinyl and ordered a sheet of 30 x 24 red overlay, as for installation all you need is a the squeegee which comes with the kit, a blow dryer to soften up the material and let it take form to the light, a razor blade or sharp knife and some patients. It’s very straight forward and easy to do. I even bought some smoked overlays to put over my side markers... I'll have to wait and see how that turns out.
