Yeah i spent ten bucks on some airplane paint stripper, I was gonna write a DIY, but i figured nobody would really like it.

not bad looking.....how about some close-up pics of both the "paint stripped" and the carbon fiber look?.....lots of us are having "issues" with those outside "b" pilars, it would be nice to have a closer look.

yeah give me a couple of days, its pretty easy, just need masking tape, and i used a toothbrush to apply it

i did mine in carbon fiber i think it turned out good (the spot on the bottom is fixed now)
i can take better pics of anyone wants
this was not an ebay kit btw though i did order the cf roll frm ebay i got it do my interior wood trim pieces and had enough left over for my pillars

I am bringing this thread back to life. Mine got bad "oxidation" on both side. I just purchased a piece of matte black from a local vinyl wrap specialist. I will try to wrap them this weekend and see how they look.

Here are the pictures of before and after. I think the gloss black would look better. Gloss black matches with the window black trim better. I can always change it to gloss. The edging was not that good. That was my first time doing the "wrapping". I will redo it when I have more free time. It took me about 10 min on each side. You can't see the edging fault in person

I plasti-dipped that part and the "gold package" window trim flat black. It looks great!
