Default ttempt at homemade front lip

Hi all,

This was my first attempt on a home depot/DIY front lip that mimics the OEM lip. I wasn't about to post this in fear of being flamed but was persuaded to by my buddy, OneJay...It's made out of wall base you can purchase at your local hardware store. I had these around my garage so I figured I used them. It's a little flimsy so I supported it by gluing duct straps to it. The lower the gauge the better as it doesn’t allow the vinyl piece to form waves. I painted it with a red spray paint that I had in my garage which doesn’t match, but am able to find a spray can at home depot “colonial red” that matches renaissance red perfectly. These are old pictures before I was able to repaint it with better matching paint. I’m sure there is black vinyl wall base for those of you that don’t want to paint them....Thanks for looking

thanks these are my winter tire set up...felt bored with regular IS300 alloy look so I painted them graphite and added red lip... Yeah, these front lip aren't for most, and I'm sure I get a lot of "ricer" comments but I can't afford OEM lip and my car is probably worth less than the OEM lip itself so I said WTH.

I like the red, but I think maybe the color black would look better. JMO. After the storm post some more upclose and personal pictures.

Thanks buddy! yeah, it's resprayed now with matching color....would've kept it black but what I had in my garage was almond color so I had to spray it....Hit me up when you're back in town...I'm sure we can fabricate something for your 97+ bumper
