Default sc300 ecu problem

Hello all, i’ve had a load of electrical issues with my 1992 sc300 ever since i got it, but one of the issues i’ve found is the ecu, i opened it myself and found there are several resistors blown. So in terms of getting that issue fixed, is it best to send it to get repaired? If not, does anyone know where i can get a refurbished one? The ECU # is 89661-24350. For an automatic. This should be the only thing left to get the car running. Thanks in advance

I would send it to be repaired rather than risking another used one - most of us have had our ECU's rebuilt. Give @TaninAuto a shout - they're very highly rated around here for that job!

^^ Seconding RudySC's post. Tanin Auto Electronix will consider SC300 and SC400 ECU repairs on a case by case basis now. The service is no longer advertised on their main website but you can call them directly and request the service. Definitely contact them.

We'd love to help! Reach out to our customer service department and be prepared to give them the full list of issues your car is experiencing (this helps our techs determine if the ECU is repairable or not) and we'll get the process started towards getting your car running properly
