Default 98+ Radio Removal

Another question for the 98+ here

I am trying to install a new headunit but cannot find/figure out how to uninstall the original unit. Does anyone have any idea how to do this? I tried using a trim remover but i just feels like im gonna break the plastic clips.

It's the same as for all years, so look for the general stereo/dash guides.

You need to unscrew the shift ****, then pry the shifter surround up from the foremost edge. That'll reveal the other screws holding the console trim down.

Above post is correct, then after you pull the shifter trim you will see more screws, then the radio is bolted in by 4 10 mm/Philips bolt/screws

Let us know what you install! Also, if you get the volume **** to control the aftermarket unit.
