You should search. I think all this has been discussed before. You CAN do the Supra TT rear end swap, you CAN do the Supra 6 spd swap, and the stock 5 spd can be trusted up to the neighborhood of 400 tq. (Just ask Angel).
Hmm ok...So it look like the best way for top speed is using a SupraTT rear-end. And I guess Im gonna have to have a custom driveshaft made to mate up with the stock SC 5spd.
My tranny blew at 268rwKW or 360rwHP with repeated use [ab]use.
Stock limit in speed is around 143 for auto
With Supra TT Auto LSD is around 162
With Supra TT Manual LSD is around 195
With Supra TT Manual LSD and SP400 is around 186
Stock limit in speed is around 159 (according to earlier post) for manual
With Supra TT Auto LSD is around 172
With Supra TT Manual LSD is around 207
What makes you think stock limit in speed for automatic SC300 is 143 mph? All evidence I experienced apears to point in the neighboorhood of 155 mph. My speedo is about 3 to 4 mph off.

lol, nice... I said 143 jus because that's what intellexual.net says (err, I think that's where I read that). Personally, I wouldn't know since I've never tried to find where my car actually tops out. Is your engine/drivetrain stock?

More or less. I had a cone filter and aftermarket suspension at the time. It might take a little time but you'll get there.
