Default Need shocks

My rear shocks on my 95 sc400 need replacing. I do not want to change the way the car rides nor do I wish to lower the car. I want to buy new shocks all the way around that will give me a great ride cruising the highway. Anybody have advice on what to buy?

KYB's (341161/341162) are inexpensive and work well.

^ I'll second that - always a good choice!

KYB's first choice for stockish shocks. Tokico blues are good too.

Do you happen to have a source for Tokico blues?
Been having a hard time finding ones that aren't supra-specific fitment.

For off the shelf stock fit I'd choose the KYB's also. A good brand with a long history of offering OEM performance shocks for several cars in the past (1980's Mustangs especially). Tokicos are good as well.

I wish Koni and Bilstein offered a true off the shelf OEM-fit replacement shock for 92-00 SC's but sadly they do not.

vwbusman66, you technically can fit Supra MKIV direct-fit replacement shocks onto your SC300 but you would have to pair them with a set of Supra MKIV style direct replacement springs. Your ride height will be lower than stock as a result.

KYB’s worked well on replacing the LS430 struts and the ride is smooth….. Have not seen any negatives.
