Overheating Issues / 92 SC400
Hello comrades, does the circular component pictured have anything to do with my overheating issues, and if so could anyone explain to me what it’s called and it’s purpose. (Yes I’m a noob XD) just replaced my thermostat as well, engine coolant levels are good, just trying to get my baby moving again.
thanks for the swift response. So to cure the air bubbles, I would have to bleed the system? And as far as the temp sensor, you have any idea where that’s located? Sorry if that’s a ton of questions, I’m not finding it on the web.
That round thing is a vacuum switching valve which opens the valve to let coolant flow to the heater core. If you have air in your cooling system, you need to burp it. I’m not sure what the best way to do this is on this engine.
