I'm creating a separate thread for this issue because I don't want to keep jumping in and out of the TT ECU Mod main thread, and technically my TT ECU mod is complete, just not running right. Here's the background: I've completed the TT ECU mod on my 1995 manual swapped SC300. I'm using a 6-speed JDM 2JZGTE ECU, OEM VVT-i coil assembly+DS62 igniter, brand new OEM Toyota MAP sensor, IAT sensor, Walbro 255 fuel pump, Oside Tiger 440 CC injectors. I originally was using an Aristo ECU for my TT ECU mod and was experiencing a rev cut issue, but it was only happening when the car was under load, would rev fine in neutral. I first checked all my wiring, checked for vac leaks, checked sensors, but everything was good. I searched far and wide for "NA-T rev cut Aristo" and found some vague references to the auto Aristo ECU not liking a manual trans, so I waited until I found a used 6-speed Supra ECU. I thought that solved the issue because I when I swapped ECUs and set base timing, no more rev cut...for like 2 days. I last drove it on a Saturday for about half an hour and everything worked fine. I was going WOT on the highway with no hesitation, stutter, etc. I got home, parked the car, didn't even look at it again until Monday morning when I went to try and drive it into work. To my disappointment, the car would not rev past ~3k RPMs, even in neutral. I have double and triple checked all of my wiring for coils, checked wiring to all my sensors, checked to make sure the sensors themselves are plugged in, not getting any CEL codes. Base timing is set. Again...the car was running great, then seemingly overnight, broke. I'm really stumped, hoping someone with more knowledge/experience will recognize what's going on.
