Default spacers for tt brake upgrade inquiry

i'm very interested in getting the supra big brake upgrade. i have the 17' gs 400 rims and i know it won't fit but, can i use high quality spacers to make it work?? is the space/offset really in the way of those calipers by a great distance and if not,how will the ride be affected by adding those spacers. what are the dangers involved in using spacers, how will it look? and is reliability now a concern?.- oh one more thing, do you also have to change the master cylinder? and if so,how is the traction control and abs systems affected? will reliability be an issue with this new setup?......................thanx in advance for any info concerning this inquiry..i'm seriously considering this project! a.s.a.p

Deron,

from what I have read you will need a 5mm spacer.

Can someone confirm this?

not sure how much clearance but I have a set of 8mm spacers and longer wheels studs I can hook you up with.
