i recently changed my battery.. now everytime i turn on my car.. it beeps.. why's that? how do i stop that?

I think I get a beep too. I think its normal.
I will pay attention the next time I get in my car and let you know.

What doesn't beep in these cars
The beeps that I've noticed are:
- Door open/key in ignition
- Sunroof open
- Reverse beep (I don't think the SC has this, the Soarer definitely does though)

 

What do you bet it's the factory cell phone? Even if you have removed the handset, it will still beep every time you turn the car on, if it has been reset. Sounds like an old motorolla brick phone turning on. Do a search, and you will find instructions on how to disable the cell phone beep.

 

Oh, sunroof open beep huh?? I couldnt figure out why sometimes it would yell at me when I turn the car off, and other times it wouldnt. That explains it, Thanks.

 

hmm.. it never beeped before.. but it does now since i've changed the battery.. ol well..

 

I'd guess it's the sunroof -- I had the same thing and couldn't figure it out for the life of me... posted here, got an answer in a few hours, and felt like a moron!
