Default Stupid question

Doin a 1jz swap. I know i needa get a rear sump...heres my dumb question. Would you guys trust a welded aluminum pan?

Thats a lot of welding and potential warping. Maybe? The OEM setup is what I plan on going with, can't really match the fit and finish in my opinion and its' all available still.

Welding aluminum that needs to seal well can be tough, especially on a cast oil pan. However, it can be done and someone willing to put in the proper time to prep it correctly could make it happen.

I went ahead and bought a used rear sump thats not welded. I was curious because there was one on ebay that was cheaper but i didnt want to chance it..even though it looked like a good weld.
