Default LS400 power steering in '98 SC400 ?

I've searched and done some research but cannot find valid info if the LS ps pump can be used in the SC?I only found that the difference is LS pump uses the air control valve while SC does not therefore the SC pump has that connection sealed of.
But I thought the SC uses something similar? And if so, would O.L.T's method of capping it off apply to the LS pump?

So the "Related Threads" section did pull up a thread with what I was looking for.

Update

Got the LS pump installed. Looks like previous pump is an LS400 pump as they are identical. Have driven around 30 miles so far and no leaks. I did clean the alternator with CRC Electric Cleaner and it still works. I will soon replace it either ways.
