(1994 sc400) I was having the issue where pressing on the brake pedal caused the engine to shut off. I went to check out the wiring to the third brake light and some how while checking the connections I lost all power in tail lights except for my running lights. Anyone know why this could happen?

 

Now that the brake lights don’t work, I can press on the brake without the engine shutting off. I’m super confused at this point.
