What Transmission additive for sc400
Hey everybody I have a 1994 sc400 with 194k miles runs great and stills shifts relatively smooth however occasionally when i really get into it it shifts it a little hard not to worry about but I want try and keep my transmission as healthy as I can at these kind of miles. Of course I don’t always drive it hard core just every now and then when I need to. Would anybody recommend transmission additives such as Lucas stop slip of Lucas transmission fluid life extender. I am in the process of changing the fluid during each oil change I have changed a total of 4 quarts so far. Thoughts?
I would just stick with OEM Toyota Type IV fluid. And if you like to drive aggressively often, maybe consider installing an external trans cooler.
