Default What am I missing or doing wrong??!!

I have a ‘95 SC400 and I’m doing the power steering pump, reservoir, flush and screen clean thing.

I've gotten the power steering rack solenoid loose but can’t get it to thread completely out. It appears to be hitting the rack in the area of the tie rod bellows.

any help/tips/guidance would be appreciated.

im going to try and get a pic of it.

thanks Greg.

It might be easier to get at if you unbolt the rack from the subframe

Late reply but keep turning it. The rubber bottom hits the rack maybe 2 full turns then it should come off.

thanks. I got it out and the rubber hitting was the problem. Now to clean up the screen and get it all reassembled.
