I ordered a smooth radio insert from Miss Emerald (here on the boards) from this URL:

It's been over a week (Aug 18th) and I have gotten no response. I paid via paypal from the site. I've e-mailed all the e-mail addresses on the website:

I had all e-mails responding: "personal address and got a response from their mail server, "This account is over quota. - mta132.mail.scd.yahoo.com" I'm hoping this is due to the virus attack during this last week that crashed a bunch of e-mail servers.... but I'm losing hope....

I also PM'd Miss Emerald and Importtoys

And I've gotten NO response from the PMs....

So far I've filed a complaint with Paypal.

and at this point I don't even want the insert anymore because I've already finished my audio setup without it. (was expecting to receive this item by Saturday August 23rd).

This is what I am going to do if it becomes the worst case scenario:
File a Buyer Complaint with PayPal
Call my credit Card company and decline the charge and report fraud
Contact the FBI Internet Fraud Complaint Center
File a complaint with the National Fraud Information Center.

Is there anything else I can do?

I'm really hoping this is a BAD case of communication.... all I want is my money back... from previous posts Miss Emerald seems like a legit person...

Please give me advice... or else I'm out $47....

 

I highly suspect they're getting slammed with the big sobig/f email virus and that's filling up all their inboxes. I'd cut them some slack, think they are ususally responsive.

Their ClubLexus PM addresses here are not really 'official' means of communication with them, and since none of your emails have been received you haven't really contacted them at all. The 'ripoff' title of your thread is a bit excessive given the fact you haven't even talked to someone and it's only been a week. I'm editing it.

Try to find a phone number and call them. Check your PM.

Got this nice PM from Poorguy and also one from Em. I was right that Importtoys - like many companies - has been swamped with email issues from the virus (their boxes fill up every 30 minutes).
