Greddy E-manage Round II
Anyone have updates on how their emanage is working out???
need to decide soon on the fuel computer for NA-T project
Did you guys wire it up yourselves?
are the hanesses vehicle specific? (I seriouly doubt it tough)
Onlything good about the AFC-II is that it's prolly easier to hook up and tune
thanks

Have AIM?
With the stock ecu and a box like the Emanage, you don't get an actual timing measurement. You can see the Emanage's manipulation of the signal, but not the actual degrees of total timing as the unit just manipulates the signal that it sees. I think a Tech Tom can output the timing advance number from the ECU, but even that isn't exact because it doesn't know what the dwell angle is on the distributor, which would have direct bearing on the actual spark timing. That is one of the downsides of having a distributor instead of coil on plug a-la Supra TT. Those guys can directly get timing from the ECU.
Where in Texas are you?

I need help!!
I have my emanage wired up with the ignition and injector harness and yet its still not giving me a signal from my MAF!!! It says theres no signal. I have a 92 sc300, but i have a 93 maf, and 93 ecu installed. What could my problem be!!! The car runs, but it runs real rich. Why is this!!! Can anyone help me out?
Kevin
BTW my rotory settings are 5-8-4

I'd drop the injector and timing harnesses. Start from square one. Re-hook the MAF signal directly to the stock ECU... (Emanage completely out of the loop) Does it run normal? If it does, then you are reasonably sure that the MAF is at least outputting a signal. If the ECU doesn't receive any MAF signal, a check engine light will result in addition to the rough and rich running. After that, if you know you have a MAF signal at the lead, its just a matter of splicing in and double checking everything. As I mentioned in the PM, I'd solder everything for the most reliable connection.
