Default Bump Stops

Yesterday I just had an Eibach Prokit and Tokico struts put onto my 97 SC300. I have some questions now. My front tires rub the wheel wells when I take a turn moderately hard (my left tire when i turn right or my right tire when I turn left) or when I'm traveling fast over a pot hole or something. I know the people who installed my stuff cut the bump stops but could they have cut it too much so that my tire hits the wells? I only have 16's on the car and they still hit. Ive seen people with at least 18's that fit with eibach kits. How much of the bump stops are supposed to be cut? Thanks for your input.

I'm facing the same dilema...

Tokico recommends to cut 1/3 to 1/2" max.

Howiedoit also advice me to cut 1/4 to 1/3 of the bumpstops...
