Default Radio Help

I have a 93 SC300 with a 2JZ-GTE conversion. I had to park it for a while because it would not pass smog with the JDM engine. Now that problem is solved and I'm driving it again but the radio is not working. The light just barely flickers but doesn't come on. About the third time, I drove it the radio came on and worked great but the turn signals wouldn't work then the next time I started it the signals were back and the radio wouldn't come on again. Anyone have an Idea where to look? Fuse is good and The system Lexus used on these is so complicated I don't have a clue how to troubleshoot it.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Check your grounds, especially any that can tie into both problematic systems.

I don't know where they would be? Everything was working fine before it was parked.

Condensation tends to form when cars are parked, which can mess with electrical. A ground that was fine before may not be making good chassis contact now.

It's up to you to consult wiring schematics and see where the likely culprits are. All I can give you is the hint where to start.

I don't know where to find a wiring schematic for my car plus all schematics I have seen do not tell you the location of ground connections. I was hoping someone that has worked on one could tell me where the grounds were. I can't afford to take it to a shop, and I'm an older guy (70) that the complicated electronics in this car gets very confusing. Please, some help so I can put my car back together and drive it with enjoyable tunes again.
