There are a few guys in Australia with TT Auto Supras looking at getting built boxes. Unfortunately, the prices for sending a box, getting it built, and bringing it back, are prohibitively high. One guy who runs a trans shop has suggested it can be done for considerably less than US shops are charging. I'll let you know if/when they come up with an upgrade.

 

Bought the built tranny. It will take 7 days to ship. And a couple to put in. I will tell everyone what I think. That is if someone is interested. I will be in LA when its done if anyone wants to meet up to check it out.

 

sp400 built? or just a stock rebuild? if so who did you get to do the rebuild?

 

Okay the car is being sent to a shop for modification. Local guys in LA couldn't handle it.

Some of our customers ahve purchased cores for around $500, had them shipped to us, and we rebuilt them and shipped them internationally. I forgot how much shipping was... but it wasn't a bad deal overall considering you'd have an extra trans now. .
