Default '92 SC 400 transmission

Hi there, new to the forums. I have a pristine '92 SC400, 240K miles, that the transmission is beginning to slip. Any suggestions re rebuild, remanufactured, or used? I plan on keep the car indefinitely, only put on about 2500miles/year.. Thanks! Mike

Mike,

If you haven't, I'd start with a fluid drain and refill. You'll have to drain a few quarts out, top off, drive, drain, top off, and drive again (and repeat this until the fluid is a nice clean red). That's the easiest/best option to see if the trans is salvageable. Past that, there are rebuilt and used units floating around for very reasonable prices. Welcome to the forum!
