92 SC 400 for $9,500?
Thanks for all the tips guys.
As the previous owner of 4 SC430s, I always wanted to get
another SC but a clean white SC400.
I see the low mileage 400 is harder to come by these days.
I do see many Black SC400 for sale but not too many clean low
mileage White , Silver Spruce or the Red available.
As for paying a bit more, I really don’t have an issue
paying 1-2K more than high book considering getting a new
LC500 is about 100K so tax alone is about 10K alone

As they say” beauty is in the eye of the beholder “ The SC 430 was not as well received as the 400 but over time, the 430 grows on you. I owned 4 of them with my latest a Pearl White with 47K on the clock Love the handling and the look Getting a SC400 for my son
youre right my bad
Man how do 25+ year old cars have under 100k miles? Its like people actually bought them as their sunday church car

I saw the ad for the 92. The price even at 72k is too high
That SC sat for 5-7 years not driven
All the gaskets, seals belts are dried up
The car is also being sold by “ the daughter”
who apparently has the title. The seller has
o feedback so I don’t know about it..
The SC 400 is nice but for a 92, thAt is just too much

Someone should jump on this thing immediately. People talk about how ow mileage cars are horrible, as someone who owns an extremely low mileage classic Mercedes W126, mid teens, I'd have to disagree. The cost of doing the valve cover gaskets is inconsequential considering how much better it is than even 80-90k mile W126s
Honestly, people that buy 3-5k SC300s easily spend twice that getting it to be mediocre, and itll still be worse than most well taken care of low mileage cars. Think of the costs of interior pieces and how quickly they add up

I paid 1400 for a 93 jade with 57,250 on the clock. I had to buy the interior window trims, and seat upholstery. after that and paint I'm going to be around 7k into it. I'd look for lower miles for that price
