Default Suspension done

Theis is a before shoot

Cleaned up

Uca out of the way

All cleaned up and painted with a brush

Stock top hat with cut bump stop

Eibach tt with front stock shock! Front fits flawlessly!!

Removing front shocks couldn’t be any easier
I was working on my 97 sc last night installing ls400 bbk and I also wanted to install TT eibach springs. Guys it’s so so mush easier to loosen the top 3 nuts, then uca long bolt ( with 3 small 10mm bolts) to clear the plastic to pull the bolt out, and then shock bottom bolt in that sequence.
So after that was done I was able to mount the Supra eibach front spring onto the sc300 original tokico shock the front as your guys can see was spot on as far as fitment on the shock.
I haven’t installed it in the car yet, because I still have to replace the sway far for the tt and the end links.
Compared to the old school method removing the bottom shock bracket this was walk in the park.
as a matter of fact it was so easy I decided to clean, dry then paint the hub and lca!
Here are some shots from 1am

Looking good! And nice work restoring and painting the metal spindle assembly. Did you use POR-15 for that?

Thanks Kahn!!
I have a can of “car brite” black engine paint, I’ve had this can for over a decade sitting in my garage, I had to put this good stuff to use.
