Has anyone dealt with versus trading before?
I’ve been looking for either the bomex (whale) wing or the veilside executive wing but sadly bomex is out of production leaving me with only the veilside wing.
about to make the order with versus trading who is the NA distributor for veilside, they are asking $480 for the wing 60 day lead time. That’s “ok” I guess for genuine veilside product
problem is they now are quoting me $300 shipping plus $110 “broker fee” and on top of that I would have to pay duties and taxes.... that would bring the wing to over $1k.... beyond reasonable...btw I’m in Vancouver Canada.
so my question is, who has ever dealt with them before?

The fact that they are charging you a broker fee implies they are not the NA distributor for Veilside anymore. A broker fee means they're using someone in Japan to get the parts because they don't directly talk to Veilside anymore.
Might as well try contacting Mastermind or Bulletproof Auto and asking them to source you a wing. Both those places don't charge broker fees since they themselves are the brokers.
Otherwise you can try going thru someone like RHDJapan. They are in Japan and would have Veilside ship the spoiler to them, then they ship directly to you.
I just did a google search and it looks like in the USA) Vivid Racing and Horsepowerfreaks both carry Veilside parts. You might want to contact them and ask if they can source you this wing. It's worth a shot

My biggest problem is that I spoke with vivid and they said they can do it but want a 50%dp on total cost and a 60-90 day lead time, I would understand it but a lot of people I know keep telling me to stay away from vivid as they had stories of up to 8 months of waiting....
horsepower freaks is part of vivid and I couldn’t find bulletproof or mastermind

The months of waiting doesn't necessary mean it's Vivid. A guy I know on facebook waited 6 months for a Vertex bumper. Another guy waited 9 months for his BN Sports kit. And there's currently a bunch of people waiting on Amuse parts - they're on 6 months.
None of this stuff is mass produced in Japan. It's all done in small batches. A perfect example that just happened to me is that I ordered a Vertex wheel thru RHDJapan and it had a 2 month wait that turned into a 3 month wait. (Ordered in early April expecting a June 5th production shipment - turned into July 5th - then DHL shipped to my house in Chicago by the 7th.
