Default 1996 SC300 Maintenance Schedule

The wife's SC300 did not come with the manual of scheduled maintenance. Can someone tell me what items are listed for the 60k maintenance. I do not want to be at the mercy of the dealer in determining what should be done.

If you register your car at www.lexus.com, which you should do anyway, you can look at your manual online and they will even send you one in the mail for free! All you do is fill out the form with your VIN number to register your car with them.

The only hitch is that you will start getting "Lexus" magazine.

60k is the big kahuna (sp?) of maintenance, because you change the timing belt. expect a big bill for this one. some people forgo the timing belt, and have even gone as high as 100k on original belt, but I would prefer stay on the factory recommendation.
