Default SWEET....

I have been looking for something like this since I have gotten my SC... I would really like something like this on my 300... I want to stand out (That is why I have decided to add a PC to my car and replace the Headunit with a touchscreen LCD...) But also this mod is a nice feature...

onelasttry : Do you have any pics of what you did for Thang... Is what you did with the LEDS in the mirror hard to do ?? I would not think adding them to your car would be that hard, but I would love to see how you mouthed them...

Keep up the good work guys... and keep us all updated
Shawn

i've researched that touchscreen lcd idea(also involving relocating the buttons for the a/c heater controls to the outside of the glovebox, surrounded by the leather of the glovebox) for 2 years now and was forced to scrap it due to impracticality($$$)........no luck so,i ended up going a cheaper route-(custom sub,-folding screen alpine head unit(looks stock) and alpine hardrive headunit(future..not out yet)...good luck!!

well the real problem is the internals. Custom screws/mounts have to be made and the mirror unit has to be dissected and rebuilt-(electronics and hardware) to accomodate the new setup and led lens-once completed, the mirror will function just like a stock unit. it folds in completely, and the mirror functions normally. if you ever needed to get access inside the mirror,(like stock) you would be able to take it apart in 2 pieces. still workin on them...i will keep everyone posted..will try to post pics of progress ..negative and positive..thanx for the input!!
