so I'm new to the forum I've got an sc300 with the 1jz gte, and I'm getting a loud squeaking noise like a loose belt when i get into boost not super worried about it at the moment mainly wanting to figure out this forum stuff figured that was a good topic to start with. Any way i would really appreciate if somebody knows the root of that noise. thank you

 

The harmonic balancer makes a loud screeching noise when it is failing that sounds like a loose serpentine belt.

My main crank pulley and Harmonic Balancer got a divorce last night... Thankfully I was only going about 15mph.
