since the w58 and r154 transmissions are in short supply, is there anyone that has looked into using the J160 transmission (is250, brz/fr-s) for use mating to the 2JZ and 1UZ engines?
It has a removable Bell housing so I’m sure someone could fab up a new bellhousing or adapter. I just haven’t seen anything about it.
Im looking to get another SC shortly and want to have a manual swap and since these transmissions are so abundant and cheap, it would be nice to have this as a possibility

Unlikely to see many. They don't handle much past 400hp and these platforms routinely double that on eBay parts. Its like the W58 but as a 6 speed.
