Wow Tony. Those look great. Do you use amber colored bulds in those?

I can't wait to get these on this weekend.

Actually I can't use those LED washers...I think I'm drawing too much from the HID fogs, HID low beams, led corners and LED rings.... When I put the washers on..they don't seem to come on....they WILL if I shut one of the other ones off.....I guess there is TOO MUCH of a good thing

Vegas..vegas? Why not go clearcorners dotcom instead of DIY?
Just like how I recommended the injen intake over weapon-r...I recommend clearcorners over the japanese clears even more.

I totally agree with you on the Injen Intake. Perfect fit and looks great.

On the clearcorners, I couldn't afford to send my side markers out to have someone work on them. I really needed my car. My other car was having tranny problems my Lex was my only source of transportation. The dealership is still trying to get my other car running so it was a good thing I ordered these.

As far as the DIY, I've seen some very nice examples on this board. Computerwiz did a very nice job on his. Hardly tell they're DIY. Anyway, I'm really happy with my purchase so I think that's all that matters.

I did actually did notice a nice increase in power across the range. Spin the tires on launch. Shifts at a higher RPM. I can actually spin my tires while I'm already rolling at 35mph. Really easy install too. I am very happy with it. Might be able to squeeze some more power out of it when Leo fine tunes it next month.

As far as fuel consumption, it might be a little worse but not that bad.

Vegas, where'd you get your ECU, and how much? sounds like a great investment if it makes that much of a difference for you.

Lets do it. That is if we can get them cheaper for ordering in quantity.

I checked out the Takakaira site, and the only D-Speed clearcorners I find are for Soarer...will these fit 95 SC400? I'm guessing they will...but thought I would ask...are these the same ones as the ones that Vegassc400 has pictured at the beginning of this thread?

D-Speed Soarer Clearcorners (part No. 3954)

It's the fifth one down the list...I just want to be sure before I order...

Oh, another question...does anyone have pictures of how the amber bulbs look in these clearcorners? How about pics with hyperwhites in them? Just wondering which looks better...

Yes, those are the same ones I have on my 95 SC. This link has pics of my SC with the amber bulbs in but no close ups. Stick with the ambers. Hyper whites where your amber markers are supposed to be is a big no no, especially in CA. If you do go with the hyper whites, be ready for some tickets. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...highlight=pics

Wow! U'r car looks nice with the amber bulbs! Thanks for the advice...I'm fairly new to California (originally from Chicago, where hyperwhites are also a no-no ...I should have guessed ).

Hey this looks like a good place to plug my DIY clear corners i just did

I used acrylic window replacement (found at lowes for $3), ATV clear sealent, and the lights i used were pilot chrome/amber wedge bulbs ($4). The only problem is i need to take out the one on the passenger side because i didnt seal it all the way up and it got foggy after the rain.

Found one more place that has nice looking clear corners.
http://jkwebdesign.co.uk/acatalog/Cl...x_Parts_2.html

Looks like they come out to even more $ than the D-Speed thoguh.

Oh well.
Thought I'd share.

ok two things you guys need to know

the website on the the post above are D-speed, i.e. the same product.

secondly, if you order through takakaira,BEWARE.

I ordered a set of these back in March, and just recently, one of the covers FELL OFF, must have been while in motion cos i can't find the cover.

I contacted Takakaira because clearly its a product default, but they will never issue a refund UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

I was disgusted as these things aren't cheap, and basically the glue isn't strong enough to hold on to the cover for more than 6-9 months. So be careful if you bought them or thinking too.
