The person that shipped this to me is Lex Luthor. He said that it was shipped by UPS. I have no way of contacting him except through PM and he assured me that it would be taken care of. Hopefully this will be follwed through shortly.

I cannot imagine anyone, even a UPS employee, BENDING a car bumper to make it fit in a box. That's just incomprehensible.

I hate UPS anyway. Their boxes suck. USPS stuff is sturdier, and I always do my own packing.

Well after speaking with th UPS store that he shipped from I was informed that he brought the bumper in already in the form that it was and told them to stick it in a wordrobe box. That is what they did. I was under the impression that he was somewhat of a reputable guy on this forum and that is the only reason why I purchased this from him. Hopefully he will live up to his reputation on this forum and come clean. Up tothis point I am awaiting a reply from him.

WOW!!! I'm amazed that Lex Luthor would do that. I hope its some kind of misunderstanding cuz hes been around for a while. Hope it all works out for you and you get your money or a new bumper back.

I am surprised too.
I have shipped bumper covers before, and i have found out that it is easier to bubble wrap the iish out of it and insure it. NO problems, and it only costs 18.00 thru UPS. This was for thee Legend, so same size if not bigger

I am sure there is a good explanation

Dude, could you bullsh!t just a little more, i'm so pissed @ you for trying to slander me I wish you were standing in front of me right now. First of all, i've been in constant contact with you through this whole thing, don't act like i've blown you off at all. Second, I ASSURED you this would be taken care of. I did not pack the bumper myself, you know that because I told you. UPS was paid 70 or 80 bucks to pack it into a box that would fit and ship it, with fifteen bucks worth of packing material, I trusted them but won't make that mistake again. I have the itemized receipts showing what UPS was paid for, I can scan them in to show you, i've already offered to do that for you. This bumper came off my personal car, and everyone knows what condition it's in, I have a million pics, so UPS can't claim it was in that condition. I sold you the bumper for $100 plus shipping, I always hook up CL members and this was no different, I could have charged you double that but didn't. Also, the grille was not included as I told you, but I found one and included it free of charge. You think you feel bad? I have a $2500 part that I waited months and months to come in from Japan, it was damaged by the transport company, and i'm forced to wait on the claim same as you. Does that put things in perspective? I asked you days ago to send me pics so I could file a claim with UPS, but you didn't, and instead you post them here and try to make it sound like something it's not. Your daddy even called me yesterday, he told me he was a friend of yours, I called him back and assured him i'd follow up with this, but I won't be moving very quickly for you now . What kids like you do is make guys like me not want to hook up CL members anymore....

It sounds like UPS guys are trying to cover their own butt.

I agree with aliga. Lex gets a lot of respect here and there is a reason for that..
