Mirrors and memory seats not working
Hey guys,
I tried looking up for past threads on this but I'm not having much luck...
Here's the problem(s) I'm having with my 92 SC400...
Sometimes when I start the car, the right side mirror will start adjusting itself. It tries to turn down and when it reaches its limit it starts moving up and so on and so forth.
I can't control it using the mirror adjustor.
Also, the memory seats won't work when this happen.
When this happens, I cut the power to it by turning off the car off.
When I start the car again, the power seats and mirror adjustor may work.
That is, sometimes they work or sometimes they don't. It's a 'hit or miss' sort of thing.
Is there a special module or 'thing' that controls the memory seats and mirrors (and anything else)?
This problem used to happen once in a blue moon, but now its frequency is increasing...
Help!
Carib.

There is a module for the mirrors, actually it controls the memory function but when it goes off you can't move the mirrors manually either.. weird how you describe the 'symptoms', usually it just stops working period, easy to replace but $$$
Thanks for the reply...
Yeah, after much digging around in the forums, I found out what was causing the problem.
Two hard taps on the little module made it working again. Strange, eh?
You are right about the $$$....I'm in no hurry to replace it right now...
I can live with it for now.
Thanks again for the reply.
