I have a 1995 SC300. The car alarm goes off for no reason. I must admit I've never knowingly used the car alarm as long as I've had the car. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there an easy fix? I live in an area where I really feel no need for a car alarm.

 

I had this problem with my 93 SC300. It eventually stopped going off. I don't know what causes this to happen.

 

i had this problem with my 95 when I would put my key in the cylinder to unlock the door. The door would unlock but the alarm would go off. Theres a sensor attached to the cylinder that either breaks off or malfunctions over time..I bet thats the culprit
